    i agree withe the last thread, if you have a gd pump motor it may be in the wire itself also another thing to think about is that if your wires are getting old it would not hurt to replace them any how because when you use the the pump you are constantly putting a high amperage on your wires which after time will breakdown, don't be to concerned about the control wires but i am talking abut the positive to the pump and also your conn. could becoming weak thats why i go straight from the solenoid to the pump so i only have to connections. hope this helps you out.
