I snapped the positive post that comes out of my MM1 SEHP (bosch 1 model). There is still a nut on the post so its not a flush break on the motor. Slight pressure on the remaining nut turned the the larger "bolt?' the post taps into so I retighened.

    Is the post removeable?

If not I was thinking of using a nut splitter to remove the remaining nut then using two shorter nuts to hold the positive cable.

    Any other ideas?

Not without using a nut splitter or something like that. I just soldered the connector to the nut and works like a charm.
