Hydraulique Oil

    In the Blizzard book the recommend to always use Blizzard Hydraulique oil, but I just bought a gallon (4 lts) and paid 50$ CDN... any one using other oil with out problem and what type...

    I've used both western and arctic low temp plow oil--same color, no problems that i've experienced. Western oil was $6 a liter, arctic was $30 a gallon.

    I use the same oil as they due in aircraft hydraulics, purchased locally from lubrication distributor, 5gal pails, specs are as good as or exceed any of the plow mfg. specs. Cost less last time I bought. ( that was before the recent oil price craze).
