Has anyone disassembled/assembled a hydraulic motor on their INSTA ACT hydraulic kit? I am having trouble assembling the motor back onto the valve manifold. What a PITA. Any help is appreciated.

I've changed a motor in the past and found that you have to make sure the thick fiber shaft washer (valve/pump side of shaft) is properly installed the motor brushes are seated on the armature and not the upper end of the shaft as you install the top plate/cover. If you do these 2 things, the motor assembly should mount right up. Also, make sure you clean out the groove on the top of the valve block that the motor casing fits into.

Check out this service procedure that's on Fisher's site http://www.fishersnowplows.com/pdf/27190_091404.pdf. Good luck.
