Are these elbows (2012 mm xtreme v) supposed to swivel, or are they supposed to be tight, no movement? Stupid question, I know.

I have a leak on the left side rear @ the 90° elbow on the cylinder.
Messed with it, and it moves...but unsure if that is right or not...
Removed the hose, and tightened the 3/4 fitting where the elbow screws into the cyl.... then reattached the hose- both as tight as I dared.
But the elbow itself will move as though it is a swivel fitting.

Yes or no, does it swivel? It leaks there. Not the bigger nut that hugs the cyl, but just outboard of that...

No they do not swivel. Also be careful how tight you make that nut. Too tight and it will leak.

I guess a whole new one from NAPA in the am is what I will be doing. 27 bucks a gallon for fluid.
