Hydraulic Fluid part 2

    I have read somewhere that you can use Dextron in Western pumps and cylinders. To do this, can you add it to the current fluid or do you have to drain what's there and add all of one type. I assume if this is true, that it wouldn't hurt the Meyer angle cylinders either, since there are no major differences in these cylinders from brand to brand.
