I am thinking of buying a snowbear, I know someone who has had one for a few years and had rust issues. I was thinking of spraying the entire backside of the plow with herculiner or equivalent (not the front cause snow would stick to the blade). Anyone see any possible issues that could arrise from this? I figure if I do this right of the box, it will last pretty much forever.

Sounds like it should work good, that's along the line of undercoating a car for rust. We do it to the lines under our vans beacause of salt corrosion.
