Hey guys! Last season was my first year and we did mostly parking lots. This year we have an opportunity to bid on 4 home developments. I was wondering do I price it by time or do I price by lane mile? Ice melt is tricky for me, last year I priced ice melt about $1.00 a pound but at that rate it would be expensive for these developements. Does anybody have a different way to price it?

Well you can go through 700 lbs per lane mile on salt.

    Know your costs

There are many ways to price any job. Just be sure to calculate your selling price regardless of how you submit it to the client on your company's cost per hour of operation.
