how to change hydo fluid

    how often should it be done and what are the correct procedure for doing this?

    We do ours in the fall befor the first snow fall.

    All we do is have them off the truck. Put a oil pan underneath them and pull the drain plugs. (Under the pump housing) if you really wanted to get all the fluid out you could pull the cylinders off and compress them.

    Oh and when we are changing the fluid, th light towers are up, like they would be if the plow was on a truck.

    I've been searching for something like this, thank you very much. Is the procedure pretty much the same for a straight blade?
