I did a search but came up with over 11 pages and don't have the time at work to go through them all. How often do you guys do fluid changes? I'm on my 3rd season and was just wondering.

I would change it then. I change all of ours every year. New fluid, cutting edge, and if the plow has wings, new rubbers. But I guess it all depends on how much plowing you do.

Oh, someone's a comedian. Thanks for the info snowplow71. Is any hydro fluid okay, I stock #46 here at my work if that can be used or should I get the Boss stuff?

Yea SnowFarmer is our designated comedian :D

If it's a Boss..use Boss fluid. Nothing else ever seems to work as good in them.

Is there a spot on the site here that can help with the fluid change procedure? I just looked at my booklet and it only shows new fill procedures. I guess I am just too used to my old Meyer.

Do a quick search over in the Boss section as it's been covered many times over there. But if you get lost let me know and I'll help you out.

Any idea what year the plow is? RT2 or RT3?

It was installed July 2005 and it's an RT3.

    I was not joking..;)

He did a search and got 11 pages of answers he wount read them becuse he does not have TIME but yet he wants spacial attention.

If he will not read what is already typed out for him.
    Why repeat it for him?

There are allready some very detailed responses to his questions.

Sure I'll help him out to but he should not dismiss all the work that has already been done for him.

Use the search read all 11 pages.
(hint if you change your desplay it is only a couple of pages long)

    Latter:waving:

Because he's a newbie...and sometimes newbies just need a bit of direction. ;)

If he found 11 pages of results it's because he searched the entire site, not the Boss section specifically...which is where I "directed" him to.. :)

    We were all newbies once...

lol I still have scars in my azz from the glaciers:waving:

I have on problem helping anyone.
    It was just his comment.
."don't have the time at work to go through them all."

WE spent our time already answering his Q.

If he had said I did a search and found some good answers BUT I still have some Q's then I think I would have taken it differently.

Not a big deal but that is probably why he did not get a quick response to his q...:waving:

Same here SF...and the same reason I didn't add a reply yesterday to this thread. But after his second post he changed his composure enough to warrant our help.

But don't change yours...the long haulers love it. :D :salute:
