Looking to figure out how many sq ft 1 yard of treated sand will cover approx. I was thinking around 50,000 sq ft give or take. Am I close?

First question is why sand and salt mix??? My guess is 2 yards but it depends on how hot of a mix. Hotter less mix a yard would do. Salt is about 800lb per acre or so it's cheaper than sand mix!!
