How much salt is needed to be put down?
Is it done by the square footage?

    I have a 50' x 50' lot.

Also depending on what kind of event it is(snow or freezing rain etc) you shouldnt need more than 2 bags (#100) per app

20lbs/1000 sqft is a general rule. That's heavy on most applications but you make out on lighter saltings
