I havent looked in a while, but last time it was $30,000 just for a base 2500hd auto 6.0 plow prep and towing package. Could be more now since that was about a year ago

Must be getting cheaper, I remember looking at a brand new '08 GMC on the lot a while back, fully loaded 3500 drw crew cab. I remember thinking I've never seen such an expensive pickup before! I remember the list price being somewhere around the $86k Cdn mark don't remember what the bottom line was after discounts etc. but it was still over $60k...

Really ridiculous considering our '85 was only $15k new with taxes, fully loaded... is an '08 really 5-6x the truck? Don't think so...

I'll have a quick look thru the lot later, its next door to one of my contracts--see if I can find something comparable.

those are kinda pointless... no over load springs on a single wheel 3500
might as well save the money and buy a 2500hd
