I am wanting to of course to use just enough and not more than I need to. How many gallons of calcium chloride do you guys use to treat how many pounds of rock salt. I guess I am just looking for an average ratio from the guys that do it a lot. I have been doing it but not sure I am using the correct ratio.

    As always thanks in advance

Last year I sprayed my rock salt at 8 gallons per ton. But I didn't like it. If I do it this year I will spray about 4-5 gallons per ton.

I sprayed the pile last year, made it rather slimey and didn't like to flow without using the vibrators all the time.
