In comparison to what? Your love affair is a bit one sided (for us) unless you also state what your comparing to.

Nice to see GV finally taking care of his son. :D

A friend of mine has two Curtis' and likes them. Ive looked at the plows, they seem pretty stout and built well. Im not giving up my Boss' though!;)

I had a Curtis salt spreader that the bearings went out of, I called every dealer within 250 miles and got the same answer with every call. "We don't carry those parts, and if we order them it will be at least 4 weeks before they come in".

I found a dealer that pulled the bearings off an in stock model, thank god. I ran into the guy a month and a half later and he said they still hadn't come in.

That's why I don't run curtis and never will.

What would a guy do if he only had one plow and it went down?

What sounds like a fish story? I called dealers in OH, PA, WV, and KY. Just telling you my experience with Curtis.

I'll vote yes since I just bought a 2 year old 8 foot trip edge and very happy so far with it,heck the paint is still on the cutting edge.

My dealer has no problem sourcing parts

Where is Curtis based out of? I wasn't sure if the parts are easier to come by closer to their home base. I know around here you can buy meyer parts at Tractor supply.

I know there are several curtis dealers around here that don't stock any parts they just sell and install the units.
