how lift a ford

    Hey guys im new to ford always had GM. i was wanting to raise my 08 f250, not much just a couple of inches, what is the best way to do this, and if i lift it can i haul more payload?

    !st off are you talking the whole truck or just the front?

    You need to go to the Ford dealer's parts dept, order rear blocks and u-bolts for an F350, and swap them. This will bring the rear up about 2". Should cost about $100 or less for the parts. It's easier with a hoist, but jack stands will do. If you're not real handy, a competent shop should have you in and out in under an hour, it's a pretty easy job.
