how do you wire a permanent mount light bar?

    I am thinking about getting a Whelen LP Series Responder Light Bar the LED one. I want to mount it on my back rack. but i have no clue how it would be would get wired into my truck or what type of controls or switches it comes with. any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

    If you're putting it on your backrack, I would run the wire under the cab on the frame, and come in to the cab through the firewall.

    Agreed. How to wire it is gonna depnd on what you use for a control. Since it is a full bar, to take advantage of it's full potential will require multi switches or a dedicated light control box.
