How did you determine which holes to pin the A-Frame to?

I have a 94 Chevy K2500 and pinned the A-Frame in the lowest holes on the clevis frame. Is there a way to determine which set of holes are best for my set up? Does it matter?

With the plow lowered to the ground measure from the A-Frame to the ground. Should be around 6-8". Basically you want it to slightly raised to keep forward pressure on the cutting edge.

    That makes sense, thank you!
