How can I fix this?

I have a 7.5 fisher but the bolt holes have been ground off for the spring perches. How can I fix this? I was thinking of using my 140 amp mig welder and welding the hole shut and then drill a new hole. Will the mig weld hold? Also this blade does not have a replaceable cutting edge. Can I put one on? How much of the blade should be past the edge of the trip edge?

Yeah they sell a repair kit for it. you have weld in new ones. For the amount of work and effort its not worth it go find a used speedcast. They are only about 300. Oh yeah get a cutting edge too

Fisher dealers sells the ears. Nit sure cost but I bet 4 of them costs you about $50 and then an Edge is $100. Find a decent used one for 200 or maybe less this sumer. Call around to local Junk yards you may get one even cheaper
