Should see the hour meter on my ambulance. It has fifty thousand miles on it and I think 2,900 hrs on the meter. And it's 6 months old.

5201.8 hours and 146,080 miles so thats an average speed of about 28 MPH

I wonder how many hours GM tests their engines for

My GMC 3500 had 30,000 miles on it when I traded it in, but only 19 hours on the hour meter.... the darn thing kept on resetting to 0! According to the hour meter, I must have had the fastest Duramax on the planet - avg speed of 1,579 MPH!!!

    on the dodge.
You would, turn the key into the on position then push and hold the trip button on your speedometer.
The total hours of engine running will display after about 4 secs.

My other Hr# number is wrong I got it from the overhead elapsed time
which will reset and can be reset;)

The hr meter can not be reset (we'll it can be with the right programmer)
It hasn't been driven so the millage is still the same.

314mi with 10hrs on the engine =31.4 mph ...lol
