i bought some hummer wheels for my new 06 4X4 1 ton silverado (yet to be delivered). stock wheels are 16x6.5 or 7" stock tires are 265/75/16..the hummers are 17X8.5"..
i plan on slipping these hummer wheels into some LT265/70/17s..

tell me these will work on my truck..with out rubbing.. im hoping someone has a simular set up..*gulp*

i doubt you'll have a problem.. but, will those tires mount on those rims being as wide as they are???? will the bead seal properly?

Yup that set-up should clear and look nice. I run H2's with 35's.......i ran it stock height for a while and now have a 3" body lift.

265/70-17 requires a 7-9 inch wheel width so you will be fine there as well.

Hummer centers wont work on the rear unless you run a wheel spacer.

I believe most guys clip the little platic pads off the back of the stock chevy center cap with the H2 rims. Lets em screw onto the nut farthur. Not 100% on that though. If you take the cap off you will set 4 IIRC little feet about the diameter of pencil erasor that sits on the rims....those are the pads I'm talking about.
