Hooking up relay for Atomic Leds.

    I just wanted to make sure i had everything correct before i started cutting wires.

    86 is Ground
    30 is Wire from headlight switch to pin 30
    85 is 12v from the whelen flasher to pin 85
    87a is from pin 87a to power wire for cab lights.

    That correct? Also, where are you mounting the relay for this?

    Looks correct to me off hand without looking at a diagram off hand. I'd mount the relay near the switch for them.

    do you even need a relay for led's?
    I thought they don't draw enough juice to warrant having one but I could be wrong.

    The relay is to turn off the running lights while they are flashing....

    What color wire do i tap into up top? I was going to mount the relay up by the a piller. There's a black wire and a brown wire. I had to reverse them at each light head for them to work as the truck is a 2006.

    Everything works correctly. I had it correct.
