hmmmm how long would it take

    So general rule of thumb is a 7.5 foot plow can plow 1 acre a hour ..


    my ? is what can a 8 foot stright blade push per hour and a 8.2 v blade push per hour



    just thinking about that thought mabe someone would help me out...

    It's not the plow, it's the person who uses it.

    thought someone would say that :nod: but i was just wondering ..... i see people alway say 7.5 foot plow to a acre a hour just never here anything els...

    Extra 6 inches only matter is some situations!;)

    8 foot straight = 1 acre an hour
    8.6 V plow = 1.25 acres an hour
    9.2 V plow = 1.5 acres an hour
    9 foot straight = 1.25 acres an hour
    8 foot straight with wings = 1.33 acres per hour.

    This is what I base my bids on.

    Again, depends on the lot.

    I have one lot, using a 9ft. plow and prow-wings, where I can plow 2-3 inches in 2 hours.

    And that's a 6 acre lot.

    Helps when you can push 3 acres of it to the out-side, basically going in circles.
