Hi guys
I have a HINIKER “V” plow that needs a little help…
This unit has single acting cylinders with spring return.
The left side wing will collapse when plowing.
Is this a serious problem to fix?
I would like to rebuild this unit; does any one have an exploded view or diagram of the pump and valve body?
I have also herd that changing the fluid might help, is this true?
I have no idea how old the fluid is…

I had a similar problem last year, if I remember right they had to replace a valve in the pump. Not too difficult but I just took it to the dealer to get it fixed.

You can get a schematic from hiniker..
probably on-line.

I would drain the fluid and clean the filters.
Tip, You need to remove the reservoir.
Drain the hoses and rams too

Then remove and clean the relief valve.
and the valve for that wing as it could have some gunk in it.
If that does not work replace the valve/ valves
but usually a good cleaning will do the trick.
