hiniker headlight plow mount drifts forward

    iv only had this hiniker plow a few monthes.

    when un hooking the plow and leaving it sit for a few days the headlight tower/plow mount will drift forward and is a pain to have to get asclose as possable to the plow. hook up the wires and put it into float mode to push on the ram to get the mount up so i could drive into the mount.

    so is there a reason it slowly drifts forward? is there a way to fix this by pin, chain, etc?

    Most likely the valve is bad and not sealing or there is something in it not letting it seal. It's the one in the front on the bottom.

    Small piece of 2x4 will solve the problem until you find the cause.

    Try tightening the packing nut a little. It will add more resistance possibly preventing it from moving on its own.
