'88 Chevy 4x4 (EFI) I bought this truck about six months ago, and the idle speed is real high. I cant find a way to tone it down. Or, is there another problem?

Check for vacuum leaks. I've had both an 88 and an 89 that did the same thing. My problem turned out to be a bad gasket under the throttle body on both of them.

Alan is probably right on the money with the throttle body gasket being burnt out. It's cheap and easy to change.

Another possiblilty is a bad or stuck IAC motor. You can take it out an clean it to see if it helps.
