high beams stay on

    High beams stay on. low beams go off when switched to high. relay stuck? this is on a western unimount connected to a chevy 2002 2500hd. any help would be great. thanks

    well looks like Ive got the dual burn kit.

    Dual burn keeps the low's on when the headlamps are switched to high, that's what makes it 'dual burn'. No dual burn on a relay system anyway so unless this is a new install and it's wired incorrectly (very likely if that is the case) there's a good chance you have a bad relay or a wire grounded that shouldn't be.

    want to bet on it havng a 03 and newer adapter.:confused:
