High Beam Indicator

The Fisher dealer just installed an RD 7.5 on my 99 Dodge 1500. All plow and vehicle lighting works as expected when the plow is connected.

But when the plow is disconnected, the vehicle high and low beams work fine, but the indicator in the cab says that the lights are always on high beam.

Also with the plow disconnected, the fog lights will only come on in the parking light mode. As soon as I turn the headlamps on, the fog lights go off.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

The foglights go off because the highbeams are "on" according to your vehicles wiring....something, somewhere in the install something got spliced incorrectly...JMO let us know what it turns out to be
