    Truck- 95 chev
Plow- full trip steel. 95 model but like brand new

Bought as a complete unit. Seems perfect other than the lights being backwards Hibeams are actually lowbeams and vice versa. Any thoughts?

    Thanks

It sounds like you have the wires backwards on the relays.

Does anyone have a hiniker on a 88-98 Chev p/u. On the drivers fender I have a clear plastic relay called a magnacraft. I need to know what position each colored wire goes to. I started messing with it and now my plow lights don't come on but the trucks do. It must think there is no plow attached?????????????????

I know it's a tall order but I hope somebody can help.

    Thanks
    Brad

    Now no plow lights...................

Well I have put back every wire on the relay and now I still have no plow lights but the truck headlights are on.

Here is a pic of the only relay I can see under the hood. It's on the drivers side fender. (Called a Magnecraft) This plow is model # 2750-N it's from 1995 but believe me when I say it is like brand new.

I'm not sure what I should do next, has anybody had and fixed this problem?

    Thanks
    Brad

Update: For only $10.00 I ordered a new relay. I'll post after I change it to let you know.

I'm pretty certain that it has failed.

    Thanks

OK sorry I forgot about this post. I installed a new relay. And that seemed to do the trick. Other than the fact that one night while driving home all of a sudden the lights just turned off (not good on a dark country road) so I pulled over and started moving the plow left and right and they turned back on and it has happened since.

I have no idea what happened, I just try not to drive at night now!!, just incase.

Would you still happen to have this wire diagram to email?

Hiniker's website has complete owner's manuals etc in PDF form for easy download.

I've got the manual saved to my computer.

I've got the same mixed up high/low thing going on. Gotta get it fixed tonight before the storm.
