When shopping for insurance explain that you are a Lawn Maintenance provider and will be doing snow removal in the winter. This will open up your options for more quotes and better rates if you were to just get snow removal insurance.

If you plow for a commercial maintenance company that provides all maintenance services for their corporate clients ask them if the can classify you as an employee, thus you will be under their insurance policy. I dont know what the tax consequences are, but it is worth investigating IF you have only one account. You would still be paid your contract amount for the service you provide and they take care of all the payroll taxes.

OT..."which plow". Getting sick of seeing that too. :dizzy:
