I was wondering why my pump runs some of the time and not others. Could my solenoid be bad. I checked all the connections today cleaned them and it still did the same thing.

I would start by jumping across the 2 big terminals on the solenoid when it does not work. Ii should angle left... Just be sure to be out of the way of the blade. If it works then I would replace it. A fairly cheap fix....

At the times when the motor doesn't run, do you still hear the under hood solenoid click?
