    Does it use oil
    Does the tranny leak oil
What does the tranny fluid look and smell like
    When was it serviced last
    Old gas
    Water in gas
    Los plugs
    Wires
    Carb rebuild,
Has the Kruger valve been messed with
    Etc etc
And cheek the polarity of the flux capacitor. .

You have a 4me4 quadrajet ? How do you no all this is good? How good is the spark. Darn good chance the camshaft is worn, not uncommon for those years.

I think its a 350 Its a 205 t-case used to have a four speed in it and swapped to an automatic

Brand new, right out of the JUNK YARD. Back to reality. The chevy 350 is the easiest engine ever made to work on. There are more books, etc made than can ever be read. gotta start at the basics.

Could be a 305 which were noted for camshaft issues. No?

Yes they were, soft metal in the cam shaft would wear the lobes off prematurely. But this is supposed to be a 350. When you say the throttle response isnt there is that only while driving? Does it rev up good when not in gear?

I thought the OP said he thought it was a 350? Is it possible it could be a 305? I can't remember when they stopped using the 305.
