    im on the boss web sight makeing my PLOW SELECTION and it is telling me that GM does not recommend putting a snowplow on this vehicle so dose that mean i cant get a plow or what

    What kind of truck? Motor size? If its a pick-up, regular, extended, or crew cab?

    i would like to but im on a budget and the 7 6 is all i can get


    whats the difference between the STANDARD DUTY AND THE SUPER DUTY PLOWS JUST THE NUMBER OF SPRINGS on the plow or is there more

    Then you better get wings because because you won't clear your wheel wells when the plow is angled.

    YES you can run an 8 footer.

    Standard duty has only 3 springs and is a shorter in height plow. I think it is 27.5 inches tall. The super duty has 4 springs and is 29 inches tall. The cross brassing is alil different on the plow as well.

    GM did this with the diesel crewcabs , as the diesel added more weight to the front end versus the gasser. I have an 03 crewcab gasser with a Boss 8'2" vee. Turned my t-bars up, added timbrens, run ballast and it carries it fine. The curb guards add more inches, hence less clearance at the corners..I just bump my wings forward a bit and go.

    well i just got the 76 Standard duty goin to have it put on monday and im goin to add wings so it should work out good for what i need it for thanks for the help guys
