I want to wire up some back-up lights by my hitch that are hooked into a switch. How do I go about this, I suck at wiring so any help would be greatly appreciated. Just run a wire from the battery, fuse, switch, to lights, ground the lights, ground the switch?

Use the wire to the factory reverse lights to activate a relay that is wired to your battery. Run two wires from the relay to your new back up lights. The relay will take the load off of the factory wiring and you will get full voltage to your back up lights.
