help with shocks!!!

    i have a 1986 F 150 pick up. 2x4 and i got my new shocks for it in and i was wounding if when i am done putting them in if i need to get and a lineament? I do need new ball joints but I'm not doing them for a wile and i know i need an a lineament after i do them so should i just Waite?

    No you won't need an alignment after the shocks. All they do is dampen the bumps and have no effect on how far your i-beams sit from the vehicle unless you buy yhte type that has the spring overloads on them......Get the ball joints done before an aligmnet because the shop won't warranty it if parts are wore out like, ball joints, and of the steerings parts and that good stuff
