We have a Snow Way Predator plow that has no power. Power is good into the solenoid but not to the motor. We replaced the solenoid and have the same problem. Is there a some other area we should check? Is there a fuse? This is our first Snow Way so we do not have any experience with this type of plow or problem. Any assistance provided is much appreciated. Thanks!

If it is a Fenner pump the fuse is in the cabin follow the control wire until you find it. if its an monarch pump it is under the pump cover. what is your serial number?

I don't claim to be a snow way troubleshooting ace, but here are a couple thoughts.

    1) Will the pump motor spin if you attach it directly to your trucks battery with jumper cables?
    2) Clean electrical connections, the male fittings on the connectors can be seperated slightly with a utility knife to get better contact with the female end. (look for a line dividing the male connector, bend the 2 halfs slightly apart)
    3) I have replaced a bad solenoid with a brand new one that was crap out of the box. If all else fails, it is worth a try.

    Where in Wisconsin are you?

    Good luck.
