My EX dog chewed through my power wires on my sport duty 7.5 boss snow plow. I still have the 2 year warranty on the blade will the dealer cover this? If the do or if they don't how in the world do I drive the blade to dealer or how do I fix this my self? and should I try to fix this.

Are these the wires on the plow it self?

Tell the dealer it burned out from plowing to much snow!

Can you splice the wires together ? Or maybe just buy a new kit for it.

Its the power wire that hooks up to your truck. Is it safe to splice the wires?

Is it the Red/Black Power/Ground cable and is it Plow side or Truck side?

its the red and black wires and it is the plow side. Do the wires come off the plow easy? (are the wires are held on by nuts or are they soldered?)

    1) Pull the upper lift cylinder pin.
    2) Tip the lift cylinder out to gain pump cover access.
    3) Pop the cover off.
    4) You'll see the two power cables connection points on the motor. Just remove them both (two nuts or one bolt and one nut) and pull the power cables out through the hole.

Repeat procedure for reassembly. 10 minute fix.

The Red/Black Power/Ground cable goes into the plow and connects to the pump motor and is extremely easy to replace...
You need BOSS part # HYD01690 and lists for $28.00.
I have one and would be happy to ship it to you for $26 + shipping.

While you're there, ask for a new cutting edge and light bulbs too. All normal warranty items. They'll probably touch up all the paint while they're at it.
