Help! F150

    I Just put a Cap on my 1999 Ford F150 where do I connect the third brake light for the cap? My brake light and turn signal is combined at the tail lights!

    Any Help would be greatful :dizzy:

    you can try taping into a 4 prong trailer harness and run it into the bed this way you also have a quick connect/disconnect if you ever have to remove it

    Look under the truck on the wiring harness, there is a CMSL (center mounted stop light)wire under there designed for use on caps.

    And to add some furthur help, the CHMSL wire should be light green on your truck..usually taped to the rear harness.
