Help - Cable Plow Controls

    Are the old slender Yellow handled plow control, and the somewhat newer stubby Black handled plow controls interchangeable? Will the older cables attach to the newer controls.

    This is of course on an old conventional SpeedCast plow with the cable-driven control box.

    Please answer if you can.

    Yes they are interchangable.

    Yup It is actually just a different handle that threads into the pivot underneath.

    Another quick question:

    Does the non-electric control box have the bracket for the switch to go in? The switch is the one to activate the electro-hydro unit of course.

    In other words can a switch simply be added to a non-electric control head (belt-driven model) to make it an electric control head (headgear mounted electro-hydro model)?

    Most of the ones made in the 80s and into the nineties do. The real old ones do not.
