heater in 95 dodge ram

    Hi, i am having a problem with my 95 ram 1500 it isnt blowing heat. i was wondering some possible causes what could be wrong. the truck had ample time to warm it i had been driving it for about 50 miles and the temp gague was reading 130* the outside temp was about 38* thanks for any suggestions.

    The temperature should be higher than 130,it sounds like a bad thermostat.I'd start there,and do a flush and change the coolant while it's being done if it hasn't been done in a while.

    yup it was definatly the thermostat one of the metal pieces snapped on it. got it changed and now the temp gague is running at a little under 200 and the heater works.
