Does anyone know if the headlight sensor on the dash can burn out? My headlights seem to be coming on more then they usually do.

Clean it, if its dirty it will be harder for light to pass through it and the lights will come on more often.

Yes do clean it. But they can fail. Its a photo electric sensor. If you have access to a dealer service manual should tell you the resistance at dark. and where to test. Not that expensive to replace, but can be a real pain in the a$$ labor wise.
