    Hello,
bought a used diamond plow assy that was factory installed on a 2002 gmc & installed it on my 1997 gmc. I'm pretty sure everything is wired correctly. All 4 of my vehicle headlights stay on, whether on high, or low beam. When I flip the lever to high beam, the relay under the dash buzzes. I double checked all the wiring & connections. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks, Vent

If you used the headlight adapters from the '02 then thats your problem as the '99-'02 trucks headlights are NEGATIVE to excite and all the pre-'98 as well as the '03-up's are POSITIVE to excite. What your doing now is basically shorting the head lights out when you switch them.

Get the correct head light adapters for your truck and it should then work fine.
