headlight adj on a unimount

    My headlights shine too high and before I break something trying to adjust them can some one tell me if there is a nut inside the lamp house as when I turn the pass side nut the whole lamp turns, The drivers side seem to work just by loosening the nut and sliding it down ,,,,,, buy like most things in my life its half screwed up

    No nut....Just a carriage bolt inside the housing with a bolt that tighten it up outside the housing

    well I hope you were not going to say that now I will have to search for a big pair of channel locks to grip the metal socket and hold while I try to twist!,

    Best off heating the nut so it just starts to glow then loosen it. Be careful of the wires.
