have an RT2 no, oil drain plug?

    i have a RT2 9-2 v plow i'm getting it ready for the season, and there doesn't seem to be a drain plug in the pump resivor? are they all like that and if so which is the best technique to change the fluid? thanks, pete

    There is a drain plug underneath the res.

    Look for the square drain plug, it's on the outside underneath the housing.

    hello i have got the rt 2 and it's got a plug on the valve and on the bottom of the pump hope this helps :waving:

    I was told there is no screen on these to clean... and as a result, I have never cleaned one in all these years!! lol.

    Can anyone confirm this?

    No screen here eather, the plug is magnetized to pick up any shavings.

    there are 2 screens inside the reservoir. you need to remove the pump/reservoir and the split the 2. its a pain but doesnt take that long.

    There is a screen you can clean. It is located on the top of the valve body.
    it loots like a bolt head you can go to the Boss page go to service and look at the schematic for the valve body for it's location.
    I forgot all about it lol getting old I guess:cry:

    B.s. lol..:rolleyes: after cleaning mine ( it was very clean) I found the screen located on the side of the valve body, it is labeled screen.
    I know double post but I had to correct my self...:drinkup:
