i know its pretty basic setup but im wondering if anyone has put the lights on their mm1 headgear. i understand that the lift triangle will hit them unless you do some modification.
im thinking i can just have a metal shop fab up and weld on a new piece of steel to extend the lights over a little?

if anyone has some pics of it done or ideas on metal fab with measure ments thatd be greatly appreciated!!

    thanks:mechanic:

My kid put them on , Fisher sells a kit to mount them. Came with all the stuff you need. Brackets ,wiring every nut and bolt everything. Think it was around $50.00. He has a hydraulic MM1. trucks not here but I will get a pic later.

If you want it to look factory and have or know somebody with a welder remove the piece of angle iron the lights are currently on now.Get a new piece of angle iron and make sure it is long enough for the intensfires to bolt on.Drill 4 holes and weld to the headgear!

Here's the pics of the kit fisher makes. You have to drill one hole.

I just cut two pieces of angle iron the same size as the angle iron on the head gear and drilled two holes the size of the lights. I used the one exciting hole on the head gear to bolt the angle on with the inner bolt of the lights swandwitching it together, it clears the lift triangle and I haven't had any problems with vibrations or any thing like that. plus it doesn't look as wide or as much as an after thought as the fisher brackets do and I'm only into it for a couple bucks.Thumbs Up The difference in the new lights is awesome, I love them its one of the best upgrades I have made so far...
