    Hey guys,
Has anyone ever seen one of these?
It's selling on the internet for $5500.

Airport has some. I think they are mainly used in mountain areas or areas with big snow.

I never have. That thing is pretty sweet. Too bad it doesn't snow enough for one of those where I am!

I think it would be perfect with some modifications, ie. a rotating chute?

yeah, I have seen them before and they do a lousy job on sidewalks. Buy it and you can be a member of a very elite group of people here on Plowsite

They have dual, high HP engines. One for the chassis and one for the blower. There are better looking ones out there, but for $5500 it would be worth it just to have. Sub it out to remove piles instead of melting or trucking the snow away.

I know you're not supposed to plow across the street, but what about blowing it to the next street over?

i see em around here all the time, the state uses better ones to cut the banks back and load into trucks, a big contractor has one sittin at the school now, they are awesome machines.

I love single purpose trucks that are built much stronger than they need to be.

That was a great idea using the box pusher. There is a company around here that plows the Meijers. They use a huge Oskosh with a very large box blade.

I have wanted one of those truck blowers for a couple years. I tried to get ahold of the County two years ago to see if there was any interest in subing it out from me for blowing the back roads.
