Harness wiring compatibility

    I am purchasing a 8"2 power v boss that was on a 2001 duramax will the wiring work with my 2000 ford f250 superduty or will I have to get all new wiring or new connectors

    Assuming it's a 13-pin plow, if the Ford has sealed beams you'll need a set of MSC04599 headlight adapters. But if it has composites (HB5) just remove the existing Chevy adapters from the harness and plug it directly into the Ford. Simple as that.

    So worst case scenario I have to buy a pair of headlight adapters ? Are they expensive

    Correct. And nope not unless you consider $40 expensive.
