hard starting

    hey guys ive got a 90 s10 blazer (sold the zr2):( the truck when ever it sits its hard to start. once it starts it runs great and if i shut it off it will start back up but once it sits it seems to take a while to start. any ideas?

    this is fuel injected ? if so the lift pump if it has one on the block could be losing it's prime ,in tank pump could have a hose connecting the pump in the tank to the pickup thats rotted. check to see if your getting pressure first, is fuel coming out the nozzles in the tbi unit when you turn it over ?

    yea its throttle body injection. where would i look for the hose that could be rotted on top of the tank? once it starts it runs awesome like u said it seems like its loosing its prime
