    I have a '95 C2500 4x4
    Around 100,000 miles
Last week the "sevice engine soon" light came on and the tranny shifts hard into gear?especially 1st to 2nd
Also when in neutral it idles around 2500 rpms

I've seen some simalar posts refering to a Vacume modulator?
    Any help would be nice.

    Thanks

You dont have a vacuum modulator, you have an electronically controled tranny,it sounds like you have a bad sensor, likely the CTS,TPS,or MAP sensor.Hopefully thats all it is,get it to a trans shop,or the dealer ASAP before you do more damage.
