Guage for testing/confirming pressure

    going to use just the gauge and make your own set-up . Dont know why it wouldn't work.the liquid should stay in the gauge if that was what you were worried about.might get myself one as I have been looking to make my own as well !!!

    Almost any 0-4000lb or higher gauge will work fine , I would also reccomend a liquid filled unit as posted above.

    I would buy just the gauge and make your own "T" setup , the couplers on the item posted above will not be compatible with plow quik disconnects. An old hose , a 1/4" NPT street tee , and a quik coupler set will make you a nice setup.
